Fingers Crossed!
Thursday’s Workout: Run 6 miles/ 1:00:10 minutes Upper Body and Core Boot Camp/ 60 minutes
I slept funny on my shoulder Wednesday night so I decided to skip biking Thursday morning. And apparently, injury was running in the family because poor Mo’s achilles tendon was bothering him after his brick workout on Tuesday. We may have pressed our luck with his training because although he took Tuesday night off from yoga and didn’t bike Thursday morning, his achilles REALLY hurt him on his Thursday evening run.
We are hoping that the race director from GatorTrax returns our call and email request to let us switch to the relay option for Saturday morning. If so, I’ll do the run legs of the race and Mo will do the bike leg. Otherwise, I’ll just race tomorrow. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed!
